I've decided to start my blog for my upcoming trip to Canada. I'm probably leaving July 20, 2008. That's 20 days from now. I'm not completely sure who is coming with me at this point, which day exactly I'm leaving, or when I'm getting back. I do know what I want to see during my trip, that I'm driving, and that I will be gone at least two weeks.
The idea to go on this trip actually began as the idea of my friend Robert, back sometime in late March/early April. There's a music festival in Canada called Pemberton. http://pembertonfestival.com/lineup/index.aspx Anyway, Robert decided that he wanted to try and go. I asked if maybe I could go with him, and I threw in the idea of driving instead of flying. Since that time, we have come up with about a million ideas of what to do and see. He is great at finding amazing places to stop. We have both spent many hours looking up all these places to go see. I'll have to eventually make a list of all those. Okay, so I've bought two tickets (not cheap mind you) and have reserved a place to stay in Whistler, Canada.
So, this is the countdown to the start of my summer adventure. 20 more days until I leave!
